About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes routine technician services and inspections, brake repairs involving pads, calipers, and rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. The role is intended for an automotive mechanic with at least one year of professional automotive repair experience. Entry-level employees may receive training programs to support skill and pay progression.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver's license; some positions may require a motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance.
• Perform basic brake repairs, including work on brake pads, calipers, and rotors.
• Install tires and perform wheel alignments.
• Perform light automotive maintenance and repairs.
