About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves light maintenance and repairs, including brake and tire work, routine inspections, and basic mechanical repairs. Entry-level training programs are available to help employees develop their skills and advance their pay. The position pays $19–$23 per hour. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may require a motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs involving brake pads, calipers, and rotors.
• Install tires and perform wheel alignments.
• Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires.
