About The Position
Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Technician to perform light automotive maintenance and repairs at one of its vehicle Inspection Centers. The role includes routine inspections and maintenance, brake repairs, tire installations, and wheel alignments. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression, along with state-of-the-art tools and equipment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
- Must use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Perform basic brake repairs, including work on brake pads, calipers, and rotors.
- Install tires and perform wheel alignments.
- Perform light automotive maintenance and repairs.
