Box Office Ticket Agent- The Echo
About The Position
The Box Office Ticket Agent supports ticket sales and guest service at The Echo. The role handles cash and bank procedures, serves customers in person and by phone, operates the computerized ticketing program for sales, supports the Will Call window, and completes opening and closing paperwork. The agent is expected to provide courteous, prompt service, maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance, and have knowledge of talent and entertainment. This is an entry-level role in a fast-paced working environment. The position involves repetitive use of the arms to answer busy phones and type.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of phone handling, cashiering, and customer service.
- Entry-level knowledge of basic computer operation and point-of-sale systems.
- Skills in guest relations, phone etiquette, cash handling, filing, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to type 30 words per minute.
- High school diploma.
Nice To Haves
- Previous ticketing experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based PC programs.
