About The Position

As a Bourbon Steak Server Assistant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, you will help deliver the professional, engaging service and cuisine associated with the restaurant. You will provide warm, personal attention to guests, creating a memorable first impression and helping them feel welcome and valued. You will support Food & Beverage Servers throughout the dining experience and assist guests with menu information.

Requirements

• Two years of previous fine dining service experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Point of Sale System experience.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Ensure the proper setup of all side stations in the outlet.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
