Cortica’s Board-Certified Behavior Analysts use a strength-based, holistic, and neurodiversity-affirming approach to clinical programming for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The BCBA oversees clinical programming for patients receiving ABA treatment and leads a team of behavior technicians, supporting clinicians in a transdisciplinary team and helping families make a meaningful, long-term impact. The role averages 26 billable hours per week, with reduced targets during shorter weeks. BCBAs have autonomy over when and where they supervise cases, and a flexible hybrid arrangement for balancing clinical and administrative work. Telehealth is determined by the BCBA when clinically effective for the client and behavior technician. Scheduling, billing, and credentialing support is provided. Advancement opportunities are available through BCBA levels I–IV; productivity targets at levels III and IV are reduced to 22 hours to support leadership development and broader professional interests. Cortica describes its care model as transdisciplinary, collaborative, and focused on quality over quantity. The team works with families, caregivers, and other clinicians on individualized care plans, integrating disciplines such as occupational therapy, speech pathology, and pediatrics.
