Cortica’s Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) use a strength-based, holistic approach to clinical programming for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. They provide neurodiversity-affirming care and lead a transdisciplinary team in creating a supportive environment for clinicians and making a meaningful, long-term impact for families. The BCBA oversees neurodiversity-affirming clinical programming for patients receiving ABA treatment and leads behavior technicians (BTs). The position averages 26 billable hours per week, with reduced targets during shorter weeks. BCBAs have autonomy over when and where they supervise cases, and can work in a hybrid arrangement balancing clinical and administrative tasks. Telehealth is used when the BCBA determines it is clinically effective for the client and BT. Administrative teams support scheduling, billing, and credentialing. Cortica offers advancement through BCBA levels I–IV. At levels III and IV, productivity targets are reduced to 22 billable hours to allow more focus on leadership development and other professional interests. The company describes its care model as transdisciplinary and collaborative, involving families, caregivers, and clinicians from fields including occupational therapy, speech pathology, and pediatrics, with an emphasis on quality and outcomes.
