Blood Courier
About The Position
ImpactLife is seeking a committed Blood Courier, referred to in the posting as a Client Delivery Representative, to deliver life-saving blood products to hospital clients and make emergency and restocking deliveries to other ImpactLife locations. The role is full-time status, 30 to 39 hours per week, working 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., four to five days a week, with an every-other-weekend rotation. Representatives prepare deliveries, safely drive ImpactLife fleet vehicles, and interact with customers in a positive, friendly, and customer-focused manner. ImpactLife is an independent community nonprofit blood center serving more than 120 hospitals and emergency medical service providers across a four-state region. The organization has more than 800 team members and is headquartered in Davenport, Iowa, with distribution hubs and donor centers in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
Requirements
- A valid Class E driver’s license.
- A REAL ID.
- Ability to operate Blood Center vehicles.
- Ability to sit for long periods and perform recurring physical exertion, including reaching, bending, walking, and pushing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Verify orders and load vehicles to prepare for prompt blood product deliveries.
- Safely drive ImpactLife fleet vehicles.
- Make deliveries of life-saving blood products to hospital clients, including emergency deliveries and restocking deliveries to other ImpactLife locations.
- Interact with customers in a positive, friendly, and customer-focused manner.
