About The Position

The Blast Loader Operator is responsible for placing stacks of filled product racks into the blast tunnel. The primary task is to grasp a stack of product racks on a wheel staged outside the tunnel entrance, pull or push the stack while walking it to one of three lanes, align its wheels with the floor tracks, and push it onto the tracks and blast tunnel chain. The operator then releases the racks so the chain can pull them through the tunnel. Other tasks include helping remove rack spills in the blast tunnel as needed and picking up fallen product and processing it according to procedure. The role is on second shift and pays $18.00 per hour, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential. Candidates must have at least six months of relevant operator experience with a single employer within the last 12 months and be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
