About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends while serving customers. The associate carries out initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. The role includes customer service and selling, completing assigned tasks, maintaining visual standards and an organized, clean, and safe store, following company and loss-prevention policies, and supporting sales and operational goals. The associate also supports digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS. This is a part-time position requiring availability for 20–40 hours per week and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Requirements

Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Responsibilities

Handle customer situations according to policy and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership in escalated matters.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Support store organization and cleanliness to promote a safe working and shopping environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, Employee Policy Guide, Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies; report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with leadership to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand through passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive working environment by exhibiting core value behaviors.
Maintain the company's fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
