About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating enthusiasm for Pacsun products, brands, fashion, and trends, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The associate completes tasks and initiatives assigned by store leadership, contributes positively to the store team, and supports sales and operational goals. The role includes customer service and selling, executing visual and cleanliness standards, maintaining a safe shopping and work environment, following company and loss prevention policies, and supporting digital sales strategies such as ship from store and BOPIS. Associates are expected to participate in store contests and events, stay aware of financial goals, share customer feedback, and reflect Pacsun’s brand and values.

Requirements

Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week.
Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support leadership in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the Pacsun brand through enthusiasm for its products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating core value behaviors.
Maintain the company’s fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
