About The Position

The Bistro Server/Bar Tender provides friendly, timely service to hotel guests. The role includes greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, handling reservations and phone calls, responding to special requests, coordinating with the kitchen, processing payments, and maintaining clean and stocked service areas. The position is part-time and offers compensation of $15.00–$15.75, with actual pay dependent on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Requirements

• A great attitude and ability to work as part of a team; training is provided for candidates without experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds during a shift.
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or willingness to obtain them within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take and deliver orders, and provide timely, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Schedule reservations, answer phone calls, and assist with special requests or events.
• Monitor assigned tables, coordinate with the kitchen, and address guest questions or concerns.
• Process payments, ensure proper tip reporting, and close out sales at the end of the shift.
• Maintain clean, fully stocked service stations and assist with resetting tables.
