Caregiver AM and PM Shift
About The Position
Brookdale is hiring caregivers for AM and PM shifts, with part-time and full-time openings. Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care, helping with light housekeeping, and engaging residents in meaningful conversations. Depending on state regulations, completion of training or certification may be required. Brookdale offers opportunities for professional development and advancement to roles such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) and Medication Technician (QMAP).
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents and recognize their individual needs.
- Encourage residents’ independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
