Med Tech AM and PM shift
About The Position
Brookdale is hiring Med Techs/QMAPs for AM (6 a.m.–2 p.m.) and PM (2 p.m.–10 p.m.) shifts, with part-time and full-time positions available. The role involves administering or assisting with the self-administration of medications and treatments as prescribed, subject to state regulations and completion of required training or certification. Med Techs also help maintain and audit medication supplies and coordinate medication deliveries. Weekend availability is required. Requirements
- Complete required training or certification, as applicable under state regulations.
- Be able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Administer or assist residents with self-administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by a health care provider, in accordance with state regulations and required training or certification.
- Observe residents’ responses to medications and treatments and report them to a supervisor.
- Keep the medication supply room organized and clean.
- Assist with medication cart audits and provide accurate medication counts.
- Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
