About The Position
The Bistro Breakfast Server serves guests in the hotel restaurant, provides attentive customer service, and helps ensure a pleasant dining experience. The role calls for professionalism, scheduling flexibility, and an ability to enhance guest experiences through attentive service and upselling. Candidates should be motivated and passionate about hospitality. Training is provided. This is a full-time position scheduled five days per week for 25–35 hours. Work hours are 6:00 AM–11:00 AM on weekdays and 6:30 AM–12:00 PM on weekends, with occasional extended hours until 2:00 PM for banquet events. The position requires flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends. Public transportation (SEPTA) does not serve the property during the starting hours or on weekends, so another means of transportation is required. Pay is $16–$17 per hour plus tips. Offers are contingent on background checks, and employees must follow Newport Handbook policies. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Greet guests and take their orders.
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner.
- Prepare food and coffee orders.
- Restock and prepare supplies as needed.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Follow proper food safety guidelines.
- Provide attentive service and upsell where appropriate.
