About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Biomedical Services Specialist to maintain and repair equipment used for dialysis treatments in its clinics. This field role supports clinics by keeping equipment operational and providing emergency response when needed. Technicians typically travel between clinics in their own automobiles and should live fairly close to the clinics they support. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation, which may involve responding late at night, on weekends, or in the early morning.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Skilled electro-mechanical equipment technician experience or a demonstrated aptitude for this work.
Strong communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including internet navigation and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid driver's license in the state where applying, valid automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Availability to participate in on-call rotations, including late nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Residence fairly close to the clinics supported to provide adequate emergency response coverage.

Completion of a trade school or college program in biomedical or electronics technology.
