About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Biomedical Services Specialist to help keep dialysis treatments operating by maintaining and repairing clinic equipment. The role involves supporting clinics, communicating with teammates, and traveling between clinics, typically in the technician’s own automobile. Technicians should live reasonably close to the clinics they support so they can provide emergency response coverage. The position includes occasional on-call rotations to respond to clinic and patient needs at night, on weekends, and in the early morning. DaVita provides training on its own applications and offers a team-oriented environment focused on work-life balance and personal and professional growth.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Skilled electro-mechanical equipment technician experience or demonstrated aptitude for this type of work.
Strong communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and internet navigation.
Valid driver's license in the state where applying, valid automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Availability to participate in on-call rotations.
Residence reasonably close to the clinics supported.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a trade school or college biomedical or electronics technology program.
