About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Biomedical Services Specialist to help keep dialysis treatments running in its clinics. The role supports clinic equipment and contributes to emergency response coverage across the clinics it serves. The position suits someone with electro-mechanical repair skills, strong communication and computer skills, and an interest in working in a demanding, team-oriented healthcare environment. Technicians typically drive their own automobiles between clinics and participate in an on-call rotation, including coverage for needs at night and on weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Electro-mechanical equipment technician experience or demonstrated aptitude for this type of work.
Strong communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including internet navigation and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid driver's license in the state where applying, valid automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Availability to participate in on-call rotations.
Reside fairly close to the clinics supported to provide adequate emergency response coverage.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from a trade school or college biomedical or electronics technology program.

Responsibilities
