About The Position
DaVita is hiring a Biomedical Services Specialist to keep dialysis equipment operating in its clinics. This role supports life-giving dialysis treatments by maintaining and repairing clinic equipment. The position calls for an electro-mechanical equipment technician with strong communication and computer skills. Technicians typically travel by personal automobile between clinics and must live fairly close to the clinics they support to provide emergency response coverage. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation, which may involve responding late at night, on weekends, or in the early morning. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Electro-mechanical equipment technician skills or demonstrated aptitude for this work; previous experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including internet navigation and use of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid driver's license in the state where applying, valid automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Availability to participate in on-call rotations, including possible late-night, weekend, and early-morning coverage.
- Reside fairly close to the clinics supported to provide adequate emergency response coverage.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a trade school or college biomedical or electronics technology program.
- Previous electro-mechanical equipment technician experience.
