About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Biomedical Services Specialist to help keep dialysis treatments running in its clinics. The role supports clinics by maintaining and repairing biomedical equipment. Technicians may travel between clinics in their own automobiles and should live close enough to the supported clinics to provide emergency response coverage. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation to respond to clinic and patient needs outside regular hours, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Aptitude for electro-mechanical equipment work; prior experience as an electro-mechanical equipment technician is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including internet navigation and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license in the state where applying, valid automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
• Availability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Residence reasonably close to the clinics supported.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from a trade school or college biomedical or electronics technology program.
• Previous electro-mechanical equipment technician experience.
