Biomed Service Specialist– Field Technician
About The Position
DaVita is hiring a Biomedical Services Specialist to keep dialysis treatment equipment operating in its clinics. The role supports clinics by repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment and providing emergency response coverage as needed. Technicians typically drive their own automobiles between clinics and should live fairly close to the clinics they support. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation, which may involve responding at night, on weekends, or in the early morning. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Aptitude or prior experience as an electro-mechanical equipment technician.
- Strong communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and internet navigation.
- Valid driver's license in the state where applying, valid automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Availability to participate in on-call rotations, including coverage at night, on weekends, and in the early morning.
- Residence fairly close to the clinics supported to provide emergency response coverage.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required by hospitals in the program, potentially including a booster when eligible.
