About The Position

Springwell is seeking a Billing Specialist to join its Finance Team. The role is responsible for consumer billing to private contracts, including tracking insurance claim requirements, submitting accurate claims on time, and identifying and correcting denied or rejected claims. The position also provides administrative and back-office support. It is based in Waltham and requires some in-office work; a hybrid schedule with some remote work is available.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business.
1–3 years of accounting or billing experience.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Collaborative work style.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Ensure claims are billed and reimbursement is received within the proper time period.
Identify billing errors and work with appropriate parties to resolve them.
Update consumer records with approval authorizations and work with vendor agencies to resolve vendor billing issues.
Perform high-volume data entry, including updating consumer records with approval authorizations.
Provide administrative support, including mailing invoices and running monthly reports as needed.
