About The Position
The Revenue Operations Billing Specialist will own day-to-day contract synchronization, billing execution, and finance support across Salesforce and Sage Intacct for the Rave Mobile Safety division of Motorola Solutions. The role ensures customer agreements, special invoicing, and SKU setups translate accurately from CRM bookings into financial records in Sage Intacct. It serves as a primary point of contact for Accounts Receivable and Finance questions and supports order-to-cash workflows and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in Billing, Revenue Operations, Accounting, or Sales Operations.
- Hands-on experience navigating Sage Intacct or a similar platform for billing, contracts, or accounts receivable.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including Opportunities, Contracts, and Products.
- Practical understanding of invoicing, contract schedules, and basic ASC 606 revenue recognition concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to serve as a supportive bridge between Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Sales Operations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly contract reviews to ensure deals closed in Salesforce properly synchronize with Sage Intacct.
- Manage daily contract invoicing and monthly invoicing for multi-year contracts.
- Answer and resolve contract, billing, and system synchronization inquiries related to Sage Intacct and customer accounts.
- Serve as an operational point of contact for Finance and Accounts Receivable regarding contract terms, billing schedules, and invoice queries.
- Review monthly bookings and agreements for compliance with company revenue recognition policies and ASC 606 guidelines before synchronization.
- Ensure non-standard deals and custom contract terms comply with company revenue policy.
- Support month-end close by verifying that revenue schedules, bookings, and contract synchronizations are clear, accurate, and posted.
- Support month-end checks across intercompany orders, churn, and loss queues to ensure data integrity before Finance pulls closing reports.
- Participate in Salesforce process-improvement projects with the RevOps and Business Technology teams.
- Use corporate-approved AI tools to automate workflows and reporting.
