About The Position

GEICO is hiring a bilingual Spanish/English Auto Inside Sales Representative to provide insurance quotes, advise customers on coverage options, convert quotes into new policies, and explain the value of being a GEICO policyholder. The role handles incoming calls and does not involve cold calling. The position is based at GEICO’s Lakeland, Florida office. After completing in-office training, employees may work 80% on-site and 20% off-site, with additional off-site weeks available through GEICO Flex subject to location and work guidelines. Compensation includes a base salary of $40,300 annually, with performance incentives of up to an additional $60,000 annually. Differentials are offered for bilingual skills, evening shifts, and weekends. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available to candidates who hold a qualifying insurance license. Benefits begin on Day 1 and include health and wellness coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, a 401(k) match, and tuition assistance. GEICO also provides licensing and continuing education at no cost.

Requirements

At least 1 month of customer-facing sales experience.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
Adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask across platforms.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

3 or more years of customer-facing sales experience.
Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals.
Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty insurance license; training and exam fees are provided.
College degree.

Responsibilities
