About The Position

The Patient Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional experience while managing the front desk and a full provider schedule. The role helps patients understand insurance benefits, treatment costs, and payment options, supports informed decisions about care, and ensures patients leave with their next appointment scheduled. This is an in-person position requiring reliable, on-time attendance for the full scheduled shift. The coordinator works closely with the clinical team to support smooth patient handoffs, maintain accurate records and accounts, and protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA requirements. The role calls for a calm, positive, attentive, team-oriented approach, confidence discussing costs and collecting payments, strong ownership of schedule management, attention to detail, and professional presentation. The hiring process includes a short video interview, followed by an in-office interview and possibly a working interview. Prior employers will be contacted for references, including questions about attendance, dependability, and teamwork; candidates should provide at least two supervisor references. Offers are contingent on satisfactory reference and background checks. New team members complete a 90-day introductory period.
