About The Position

At OneMain, Loan Sales Specialists help customers access friendly, fast, and affordable financing by listening to their needs and presenting suitable solutions. Compensation includes an annual salary plus incentives.

This position is on site and works Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed, which may include Saturday. The role engages customers throughout the loan process and loan life cycle, manages loan-related activity including collections, and uses multiple communication channels and internal systems. Specialists explain loan terms and optional insurance products so customers understand their choices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Multitask and adapt to changing demands to provide timely and efficient service.
• Exceed customer expectations through ease, empathy, and encouragement while meeting individual and branch goals.
• Develop new customer connections and maintain relationships throughout the loan process and life cycle.
• Present tailored solutions based on customer needs.
• Manage the life cycle of loans, including collections activities, while complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Engage with customers and other departments through phone, email, chat, and in-house systems.
• Bring a goal-oriented attitude and drive to achieve results.
• Educate customers about optional insurance products, loan terms, and available options.
