About The Position

The Bilingual (English/Spanish) Home Visit Driver drives a company vehicle during work hours and visits patients’ homes to make initial contact or conduct follow-ups, complete applications, and obtain collateral information needed for case filing. The role spends about 90% of its time in the field driving and conducting home visits. The driver follows an assigned daily route and documents and forwards information to the appropriate worker. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with work scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or higher.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Current driver’s license and a clean driving record, which must remain clean during employment.
Familiarity with GPS or map applications.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and listen effectively.
Ability to get in and out of a vehicle easily and walk up and down stairs throughout the shift.
Ability to drive and sit in a vehicle for extended periods.
Physical qualification to operate a company vehicle.
Must pass a drug test, background check, and driving record report before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate a company vehicle.
Travel to patients’ residences, employers, emergency contacts, or next of kin to obtain government forms and verifications.
Document information obtained each day and forward it to the appropriate worker.
Deliver completed applications to government agencies when instructed.
Follow and complete the assigned daily route.
Drive to different areas of the metroplex.
Perform other duties as required by management.
