About The Position

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients. We are seeking an experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) Concrete Operations Superintendent to lead field operations for a well-established concrete construction business. This is a high-ownership leadership opportunity for an experienced Concrete Superintendent or an exceptional Concrete Foreman ready to take the next step. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple projects, develop Foremen and field crews, improve scheduling and communication, strengthen operational systems, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a meaningful part in improving field operations and supporting the company's continued growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading concrete construction crews and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience as a Concrete Superintendent, Senior Foreman, or equivalent field leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of concrete construction operations, scheduling, manpower planning, and jobsite coordination.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to earn the trust and respect of field teams.
  • Experience coordinating labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Foremen and crew leaders.
  • Stable work history with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Fluent English and Spanish communication skills are required.
  • Willingness to travel for projects and stay overnight when required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple active concrete construction projects.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Foremen, crew leaders, and field teams.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly work schedules and manpower requirements.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project logistics.
  • Monitor labor productivity, project progress, and job costs.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship.
  • Serve as a key field contact for customers and resolve project-related concerns.
  • Identify and address potential issues before they result in delays or cost overruns.
  • Improve communication and coordination between field and office teams.
  • Develop future Foremen and strengthen the leadership capabilities of field crews.
  • Implement and improve operational processes, scheduling systems, and field procedures.
  • Gradually take ownership of day-to-day field operations and reduce senior leadership's involvement in routine project management.
