About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and bilingual Chinese-Speaking In-Home Caregiver / Aide to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for an elderly client living in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte (28277). Because communication and cultural comfort are vital to our client’s daily well-being, the ideal candidate must be fully fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). This position offers consistent morning blocks throughout the week. We are open to hiring a single caregiver to cover the entire schedule or dividing the hours between a weekday and weekend provider.

Requirements

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is strictly required.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a Current TB Test.
Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle to ensure consistent, on-time arrival for morning shifts in the 28277 area.

Nice To Haves

Previous professional experience as a Caregiver, CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide meaningful companionship, conversation, and emotional support in the client’s native language to prevent isolation.
Assist with daily activities of living (ADLs) including gentle assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and morning personal hygiene.
Prepare light, nutritious morning meals or snacks according to the client’s dietary needs and cultural preferences.
Provide timely prompts to ensure morning medications are taken safely and on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment (including wiping down surfaces, washing breakfast dishes, and tidying the immediate living area).
