About The Position

Visiting Angels of Plano/Lewisville is seeking a compassionate, dependable, Chinese-speaking caregiver to provide physical care and emotional support to clients in their homes. Clients may need help with daily activities because of illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The caregiver helps clients maintain comfort, safety, and independence while treating clients and their homes with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect. The role provides one-on-one in-home care to seniors in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and uses a smartphone app for electronic care documentation.

Requirements

• Chinese-speaking proficiency to communicate effectively with the client.
• At least one year of personal or professional caregiving experience, or an active CNA credential.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass required background checks, driver's license review, and drug screening.
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and committed to client safety.
• Ability to arrive on time and consistently work assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance and emotional support to clients at home.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as needed.
• Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers.
• Provide medication reminders or permitted medication assistance according to the care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-related needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Provide companionship and encourage independence.
• Communicate client concerns or changes in condition to the office.
• Arrive on time and dressed appropriately for each shift.
• Accurately clock in and out using the company mobile app.
