About The Position

Eminence Home Care is seeking a Caregiver/Direct Care Worker to provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility. The role focuses on helping clients receive high-quality, compassionate care and supporting their ability to live with dignity and independence.

Available shifts include day, afternoon, and evening shifts. The posting describes per diem, part-time, and up-to-full-time work. Caregivers assist with daily living activities, household tasks, meals and hydration, social engagement, companionship, and respite care for clients and their families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in home care or a related field.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet client demand.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Compassionate, client-centered approach.

Nice To Haves

• State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is welcome but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare meals and oversee clients’ food and water intake to support nutrition and hydration.
• Support socialization and engagement through activities at home or in the community.
• Provide emotional support to clients and their families through respite care and companionship.
