About The Position

Eminence Home Care is seeking a Caregiver/Direct Care Worker to provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility. The role focuses on helping clients receive high-quality, empathetic care and supporting their dignity, independence, and quality of life. Shifts are available during the day, afternoon, and evening, with per diem, part-time, and up-to-full-time work options.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in home care or a related field.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet client demand.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Compassionate, client-centered approach.

Nice To Haves

• State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; welcomed but not required.
• Valid driver's license; encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help clients maintain a safe and clean environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare meals and provide nutrition and hydration oversight.
• Support client socialization and engagement through activities at home or in the community.
• Provide emotional support to clients and their families through respite care and companionship.
