Live-In Caregivers share a home with an adult with disabilities. This is a true live-in arrangement: the residence becomes the caregiver’s primary home, with rent paid as part of the position. Caregivers also receive a food stipend and paid working hours. Those hours may involve supporting the person they live with, working with other individuals supported by the organization, or a combination of both. The organization considers each candidate’s personality, interests, schedule, experience, and preferences when discussing current opportunities and potential matches with an individual, home, and location. Caregiving experience is not required; the role may suit people who are kind, dependable, responsible, and good with people.
