Live In Caregiver
About The Position
Generations Home Care, LLC is hiring an experienced female Live-In Caregiver to provide non-medical care and companionship for a client in the client’s home. The caregiver will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, safety monitoring, meal preparation, household management, and companionship. The caregiver will engage with the client in activities and hobbies she enjoys and work with her on meal preparation and homemaking tasks. The role offers 24-hour live-in shifts, 12-hour overnight shifts, or 12-hour day shifts. Live-in shifts are one or two days per week in a private home. For a 24-hour shift, the caregiver is paid for 18 working hours and receives a designated six-hour sleep/rest period each night; this rest period may be interrupted if client care is required. The position is part-time and pays $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of live-in caregiving experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Proof of a negative TB test.
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Caring, compassionate, warm, and friendly personality.
- Patience and a solution-oriented approach.
Responsibilities

- Maintain positive engagement with the client.
