Live In Caregiver
About The Position
Generations Home Care, LLC is hiring an experienced female Live-In Caregiver to provide non-medical care and companionship for a client in the client’s home. The caregiver will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, safety monitoring, meal preparation, household management, and companionship, including engaging the client in preferred activities and hobbies. The role involves working either 24-hour live-in shifts, 12-hour overnight shifts, or 12-hour day shifts. Live-in shifts are one or two days per week in a private home. For 24-hour shifts, caregivers are paid for 18 working hours and receive a designated six-hour sleep/rest period each night; this period may be interrupted if client care is needed. The position is part-time and pays $19.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least two years of live-in caregiving experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Proof of a negative TB test.
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Caring, compassionate, warm, and friendly personality.
- Patience and a solution-oriented approach.
- Female caregiver.
Responsibilities
