About The Position

One You Love Homecare is a growing senior homecare provider serving the North, South, and West Houston areas. The organization focuses on improving seniors’ quality of life through compassionate care, support for independence, and community engagement. Caregivers provide services according to each client’s Plan of Care, with assignments based on demonstrated competency and administrator direction. The role also involves building meaningful relationships with seniors and their families and communicating professionally with clients and management.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience.
High school diploma or GED.
State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills and personal care experience with seniors.
Authorization to work in the United States.
A compassionate interest in working with seniors.

Responsibilities

Provide daily routine care based on the Plan of Care and demonstrated competency.
Clean and perform housekeeping, including cleaning client rooms, doing laundry, and maintaining bathrooms.
Engage clients in conversation and activities for socialization.
Transport clients to appointments and outings when mutually approved by the caregiver and agency.
Observe all Universal Precautions.
Provide medication reminders and assist with meal preparation and cleanup.
Document all tasks in WellSky.
Clock in and out on time, communicate clearly with clients and management, and report concerns requiring escalation.
