About The Position

As a Beverage Server for Traditions Hospitality Group at Newcastle Casino, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages while providing exceptional guest service. The role involves creating an entertaining atmosphere, using a stage persona, and contributing to guest satisfaction through drink quality, cleanliness, and friendly service. The position requires working in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or casino environment, with a costume and appearance consistent with the casino’s entertainment theme. This is a part-time position with evening, weekend, and special-event shifts. Employees must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed. The work involves standing and walking for extended periods, carrying trays, and lifting and carrying beverage cases, kegs, and other objects. The environment can have moderate to high noise levels and exposure to smoke.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain an ABLE liquor license.
Must be able to obtain a gaming license if applicable.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to incorporate a stage personality while serving guests.
Knowledge of guest service and communication skills.
Ability to read, write, understand orders, handle cash, and use computers.
Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand and walk during shifts, perform physical tasks, and work in a restaurant, bar, or casino environment.
Ability to carry trays and use both hands.
Ability to lift 15–25+ pounds and carry moderate to heavy objects, including beverage cases and kegs.
Must conform to an appearance conducive to the required costume and casino entertainment theme.
