About The Position

The Beverage Server provides top-quality customer service to support a favorable dining and gaming experience and promotes a Family Style Service culture through actions and a positive attitude. The role involves serving guests in a high-volume casino environment, processing sales and payments, maintaining the bar and surrounding area, and following cash-handling, alcohol-service, regulatory, departmental, and company policies. The position requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, and work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Proficient with iOS devices.
Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
Ability to safely work with provided cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
Ability to stand and/or walk for an extended period.
Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle high-volume customer interactions while remaining outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful.
Build guest relations by welcoming customers, helping them feel comfortable, and inviting them back.
Sell amenities, accurately ring orders, take payments, and make change as needed.
Follow established cash-handling procedures and policies.
Assist with cleaning the bar area and inventory.
Use bar equipment and cash-handling systems appropriately.
Know guest alcohol limitations and follow company policies and procedures regarding those limitations.
Maintain knowledge of casino events and promotional activities and assist as needed.
Keep the work area clean and orderly.
Follow regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically, and empower and require others to do the same.
Handle routine customer complaints and incidents with discretion; identify situations requiring supervisory attention and seek resolutions that maintain positive guest relationships.
Work a flexible schedule as business operations require, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
Help maintain a spotless casino by disposing of cups, glasses, bottles, and other items left by guests.
Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by management.
