About The Position

Hensley Beverage Company is a multi-generational, family-owned Arizona beverage wholesaler distributing a broad portfolio of beers, non-alcoholic beverages, wines, and spirits. Merchandising Representatives stock and rotate products at customer locations, represent Hensley, maintain customer relationships, provide customer service, and address customer needs. The role is based out of Flagstaff and supports customers in Northern Arizona, specifically Grand Canyon, Arizona.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Good communication skills and a cheerful disposition.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Frequently move pallets of product.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation; a vehicle allowance is provided.
• Cell phone with data capability; a cell phone allowance is provided.
• Ability to successfully clear a background check, drug test, and/or physical.

Nice To Haves

• Previous beverage industry or merchandiser experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Merchandising Leadership to service accounts, greet customers, refill and rebuild shelves and displays, and prefill and build displays for weekly ad setup.
• Stock and rotate products in cold shelves and coolers using display inventory or products from the retailer’s backroom.
• Fill shelves and displays in an organized and neat manner.
• Support displays with themed point-of-sale materials to enhance sales opportunities.
• Efficiently complete tasks and obligations assigned by Merchandising Leadership.
• Follow safety protocols and training and maintain a safe environment.
• Check and monitor Hensley Beverage and competitive shelf and display pricing.
