About The Position

Hensley Beverage Company is a multi-generational, family-owned Arizona beverage wholesaler. The Merchandising Representative stocks and rotates products at customer locations, represents Hensley, maintains customer relationships, provides customer service, and addresses customer needs. The role is based out of Flagstaff and supports customers in Northern Arizona. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Good communication skills and a cheerful disposition.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Frequently move pallets of product.
• Work weekends and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a cell phone with data capability.
• Successfully clear a background check, drug test, and/or physical.

Nice To Haves

• Previous beverage industry or merchandiser experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work with Merchandising Leadership to service accounts, greet customers, refill and rebuild shelves and displays, and prefill and build displays for weekly ad setup.
• Stock and rotate cold shelves and coolers with products from display inventory or the retailer’s backroom.
• Fill shelves and displays in an organized and neat manner.
• Support displays with themed point-of-sale materials to enhance sales opportunities.
• Work efficiently on tasks and obligations assigned by Merchandising Leadership.
• Follow safety protocols and training and maintain a safe environment.
• Check and monitor Hensley Beverage and competitor shelf and display pricing.
