About The Position

Coastal Beverage Company is hiring a Retail Merchandiser to safely stock and maintain beverage products in customer accounts. This field-based role supports the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts during designated standard business hours. The employee is expected to maintain regular, punctual, in-person attendance and provide professional customer service throughout the day. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM. Pay is $17.50 per hour or more, depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement for business use of a personal vehicle. Candidates must consent to pre-employment inquiries and tests, including a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, physical assessment (job simulation), and drug testing. Requirements

Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and handle situations with limited standardization.
Computer skills including knowledge of email software and the Internet.
Ability to drive, a valid driver's license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly walking, standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling; frequently handling and lifting cases up to 46 pounds; and occasionally using a pallet jack to push or pull forces up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

Service and merchandise retail customer accounts in a professional manner, supporting the sales and delivery departments.
Stock and merchandise products so beverage sections, racks, and displays are completely filled.
Keep point-of-sale materials neat, clean, and current, and maintain displays according to company standards.
Maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance at customer accounts during designated standard business hours.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
