About The Position

Coastal Beverage Company is hiring a Retail Merchandiser to safely stock and maintain beverage products in customer accounts. The role supports the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts professionally. Responsibilities include stocking and merchandising products, keeping beverage sections, racks, and displays fully stocked, maintaining neat, clean, and current point-of-sale materials, and maintaining displays according to company standards. This is a field-based position requiring consistent in-person presence at customer accounts during designated standard business hours, as well as regular and punctual attendance to support merchandising operations and customer satisfaction. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and as needed. Pay starts at $17.50 per hour, depending on experience, with mileage reimbursement for business use of a personal vehicle.

Requirements

Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Basic mathematics skills, including arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations involving limited standardization.
Computer skills, including knowledge of email software and the Internet.
Ability to drive, a valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.
Professional appearance, strong time management, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts professionally.
Safely stock and maintain beverage products in customer accounts.
Ensure beverage sections, racks, and displays are fully stocked.
Keep point-of-sale materials neat, clean, and current.
Maintain displays according to Coastal Beverage Company standards.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
