About The Position
AO Globe Life is hiring a fully remote Benefits Agent to guide individuals and families through personalized supplemental benefit options. The opportunity is presented as suitable for recent or soon-to-be graduates in business, marketing, or communications, as well as people interested in people-centered, service-first work. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided; no prior insurance experience is required. This is a 100% remote independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven, not hourly or salaried. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities and are responsible for applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and licensing requirements at their own expense. Licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state and will be reviewed during hiring and onboarding. Candidates provide their own computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace. The role includes virtual meetings and Zoom consultations, and is suited to self-motivated, coachable people comfortable working independently. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Have reliable internet and comfort using virtual tools and participating in video meetings.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be organized, self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently.
- Prior customer service or consultative experience is a plus but is not required.
- No prior insurance experience is required.
