About The Position
AO Globe Life / American Income Life is seeking a remote Benefits Advisor for an independent-contractor, commission-based opportunity. The role involves virtual consultations with clients, guiding them through enrollment, presenting supplemental benefit options, and building ongoing client relationships. Inbound client interest is provided; cold outreach is not required. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and professional development are provided. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities and pay any applicable pre-licensing coursework, examination, and licensing costs themselves. Compensation, licensing requirements, fees, and contractor terms may vary by state and are reviewed during hiring and onboarding. The role is fully remote and offers a flexible schedule. It is suited to self-motivated, organized people who are comfortable working independently and interested in a performance-based career with opportunities for growth and advancement. Candidates supply their own computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Be comfortable using virtual tools and participating in video meetings.
- Be self-motivated and coachable.
