About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team. Depending on current skillset, the role involves restoring jewelry, completing repairs, and potentially designing custom, one-of-a-kind pieces. Team members deliver a customer-first experience and are expected to meet customers’ expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Availability for seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and beauty.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry pieces, including CAD/CAM design work as applicable.
• Deliver a customer-first experience and meet customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
