About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at Augusta Mall in Augusta, Georgia. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom jewelry according to their current skills. The role offers jeweler training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance in a promote-from-within environment.

The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with varying hours that may include nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule is 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Repair jewelry, including chains, clasps, prongs, stones, mountings, rings, and other items.
• Perform stone setting, channel and platinum rebuilds, wax carving, fabrication, and casting as appropriate to skillset.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work as appropriate to skillset.
• Restore jewelry to its original condition and deliver a customer-first experience for jewelry design and repairs.
