About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on skillset, the role involves restoring jewelry, performing repairs, and designing custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Team members deliver a customer-first experience and work to exceed customers’ expectations for jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours that may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, ring repair, and other repairs.
• Create custom jewelry and one-of-a-kind pieces, depending on current skillset.
• Perform technical jewelry work such as creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
