About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry according to their skillset. The role emphasizes customer-first service and high-quality work. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflects the Jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime. Hours vary and may include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current Jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; full-time work is 40 hours per week with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• One to three years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom jewelry according to current skillset.
• Perform relevant bench-jeweler work, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom piece creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
