About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role offers a training program designed to develop skills from apprentice level toward becoming a Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to advance in a promote-from-within environment.

The apprentice learns the jewelry business from the ground up. Work includes customer service and interactions with stores and customers, administrative and clerical tasks, photographing jewelry for intake and tracking, and learning basic jewelry repair through polishing and quality control. The team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs. Candidates with basic jewelry or jewelry-repair knowledge are welcomed, and candidates with a desire to learn the trade will also be considered.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule is 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design is preferred, but not required.
• Passion and desire to learn the jeweler trade.

Responsibilities
