About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Depending on skillset, team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and design custom, one-of-a-kind pieces. The role offers training and continued learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime; hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have a customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Work varying hours, including some nights and weekends, and seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, potentially including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, and other jewelry repairs.
• Create custom jewelry designs and pieces, depending on current skillset.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work, depending on current skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
